Provision of Information: To be eligible, a claimant (the “Claimant”) must:
Provide specific, verifiable and credible information to Mumum Carly Ltd (the “Company) or its designated representative that directly results in the recovery of the bodily remains of Muriel McKay, who died in December 1969/January 1970 (“the remains”).
Submit the information in writing to enquiries@wimbledonkidnap.com, including sufficient detail, backed up by credible information to enable the recovery of the remains by the Company, the family, or law enforcement.
Verification Process: Upon receipt of information, the Company will:
Assess the information in collaboration with law enforcement and/or the family’s designated representative to locate and recover the remains;
Commission an independent forensic examination to confirm, that the recovered remains are those of Muriel McKay;
Determine eligibility for the Reward based on whether the provided information directly led to the recovery and/or forensic confirmation of the remains.
Information Required:
The information which directly leads to the recovery of the remains must be verifiable and credible which will be assessed by the Company in its sole discretion;
The Company will in its sole discretion determine whether or not the information is credible and verifiable. The decision of the Company shall be final;
Reward Payment Conditions: If the above criteria are satisfied, and no disqualifying factors apply, the Reward or such part as is due shall be paid by the Company to the Claimant within 60 days of the satisfactory completion of the forensic examination and confirmation that the remains are those of Muriel McKay;
If multiple individuals provide verifiable and credible information that collectively leads to the recovery of the remains, the Reward may be divided among them at the Company’s sole discretion.
Disqualification Criteria: The Reward will not be paid to any individual who:
Provides information that is fraudulent, misleading, or materially inaccurate;
Provides information which the Company does not deem credible and/or verifiable, which the Company will determine in its sole discretion.
Submits speculative or unsubstantiated information that does not directly lead to the recovery of the remains;
Submits information that, regardless of its accuracy or relevance, has previously been submitted to the Company and/or has previously been investigated by the Company, the Family or law enforcement agencies.
Is found by the Company, at its sole discretion, to have unlawfully obtained or handled information, or who has interfered with the investigation process.
Legal Compliance: The Company reserves the right to:
Withhold or delay payment if any legal or regulatory investigation is pending regarding the Claimant’s conduct or the provided information;
Cooperate fully with law enforcement and relevant authorities to verify the information and ensure compliance with all applicable laws;
Reject claims that, in the reasonable opinion of the Company, are frivolous, vexatious, or intended to exploit the Reward offer without providing material information.
Final Determination: All decisions regarding eligibility and payment of the Reward will be made at the sole discretion of the Company, with due regard to forensic evidence, the effectiveness of the provided information, legal considerations, and the views of Muriel McKay’s immediate family. The Company’s determination is final, and the Reward offer is not intended to and does not create any legal obligation to pay unless all conditions and criteria set out in this document are met.
Limitation of Claims: To protect against unwarranted or speculative claims, the Company reserves the right to require Claimants to provide credible evidence supporting the veracity and relevance of their information before any verification process begins. The Company may, at its sole discretion, decline to pursue claims that lack sufficient detail or credibility to warrant investigation and any such claim will be ineligible for any reward payment notwithstanding its factual accuracy or relevance.
The Company reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Reward offer at any time, without notice.
